400 Members Of Biafra Zionist Movement Arrested As They Celebrate Biafran Indipendence

Leader of the Biafra Zionist Movement (BZM), the group that has assumed leadership of the struggle for the Independence of Biafra, Mr. Ben Onwuka, was arrested yesterday in Enugu alongside about 400 BZM members as they were marching round the Enugu metropolis re-declaring Biafra as a sovereign state. The leader of the group was addressing a large crowd of Biafra faithful at the open field in the Coal Camp area of the town when he was arrested.
The group, which displayed flags of Biafra, United States, Israel and other world powers were intercepted by the police led by the Divisional Police Officer (DPO), Enugu Central Police Station, Mr. Ike Mba at Akwatta. Over 50 police trucks soon arrived the scene to whisk away the BZM members, who were excited with the declaration and who continued to chant Biafra songs even as they were being taken away by the police. They were later charged to court and remanded in prison custody.
But come to think of it, if police is this active in making arrests, we won’t be talking about negotiating with Boko Haram.
